- Arland Bruce and Maurice Mann have failed to produce, mostly due to injury.

Defence
- The Tiger-Cats defence has played exceptional. Even when the offence has set them up in a bad position, they have played very well under the circumstances.
- Everyone deserves a mention here: Stevie Baggs, Albert Smith, Eddie Steele, Justin Hickman, Markeith Knowlton, Renauld Williams, Jamall Johnson, Ryan Hinds, Jason Shivers, Carlos Thomas, Marcell Young, Bo Smith.

Special Teams
- Kicker Justin Medlock has been a pleasant surprise, and a huge upgrade from Sandro Deangelis. Medlock is 12 for 14 on field goal attempts through five weeks of the CFL season. Field goals that have made the difference in some of the closer games.
- Marcus Thigpen has yet to reach the end zone on a punt or kick return. But he has had some solid returns that should not be over looked.
